The leisure travel industry is to receive tips on marketing for the future at a session at the first ‘Spa & Wellness by ILTM’ show.
The two-day event will include a talk from generational theory expert Dr Paul Redmond from the University of Liverpool on attracting multiple generations and Stephen Cheliotis, chief executive of The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA) will discuss the emotional attachment to consumer decisions.
“I will show how companies can better engage with the market beyond the traditional baby boomers, the generation of ‘digital natives’ which currently struggles to secure work-life balance,” said Redmond.
Frances Geoghegan, managing director at Healing Holidays and Dietmar Müller-Elmau, owner of the five-star hotel and spa Schloss Elmau will also speak at the event. It will be hosted at Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol in Seefeld, Austria at 10-12 September.
