India becomes a big airline catering hub

The move by the world’s largest airline catering and in-flight solutions provider is, “To meet growing demands of India’s
booming aviation sector, we are planning new facilities at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata,” Chief Operating
Officer, Asia-Pacific, H K Cheung was quoted as saying by India Times.
India is said to be a major market where a strong demand for top-quality in-flight catering services exists. The market size is reported to be around US$100 million and growing, Cheung said at the International Travel Catering Association Asia-Pacific conference, being held in Bangkok according to the report.
