Indian low-cost carrier, SpiceJet, is in talks with rival GoAir for either a merger or to acquire a controlling stake, the Business Standard has reported.
SpiceJet’s CEO, Sanjay Aggarwal, reportedly met with GoAir Managing Director, Jeh Wadia, late last month to discuss a possible deal. The newspaper cited unnamed sources, and both carriers have refused to comment of the report.
