Indian travel agents received certification of SCOTSagents at a graduation ceremony in New Delhi this week.
25 new Indian travel agents graduated as SCOTSagents at the ceremony attended by the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affiars, Fiona Hyslop.
Scotland now boasts a group of over 1,400 travel agents throughout India, all currently selling the destination to the Indian consumers, while 2012 itself has seen over 350 new Indian agents sign up to the programme.
“I am delighted to be taking part in the celebration of the first graduation of Scots Agents in India who work hard on Scotland’s behalf to promote Scotland to the world.” Hyslop said.
