Kuoni’s first Global Holiday Report reveals how holidaymakers cut loose, underpinning of the stark cross-cultural behavioural differences highlighted between 12 disparate markets when on holiday. The report looks at how behaviour changes between cultures when they go abroad and assesses changes in various lifestyle aspects including love, dress sense and eating habits. According to the survey findings Indian women tend to eat more fast food on holiday and both sexes dress more provocatively when abroad.
The new report was launched at ITB Berlin on Wednesday and surveyed more than 12,000 holidaymakers travelling in Nordic countries from Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
