IndiGo adds series of new flights

IndiGo embarked on a major expansion of its domestic network this week, with the launch of multiple new domestic flights.
Effective 7 April, the low-cost carrier commenced its first direct flights on the Chennai-Guwahati route, and added extra services on the Bengaluru-Chennai, Bengaluru-Guwahati and Delhi-Raipur sectors.
And on 9 April, the airline will enhance its operations between Delhi and Bengaluru and Delhi and Ahmedabad with additional frequencies. And finally from 12 April, IndiGo will add flights on the Chennai-Jaipur and Chennai-Lucknow (via Bengaluru) routes.
Meanwhile, the Indian Express reports that IndiGo has been cleared to launch flights between Chandigarh and Dubai, which are expected to start on 25 April.
