IndiGo yesterday launched two new international routes by connecting Mumbai to Bangkok and Mumbai to Dubai. The Bangkok service is IndiGo’s second destination in Southeast Asia after Singapore, while the carrier started Delhi-Dubai service last month. The airline priced the tickets at US$198 (INR9,999) for both the routes.
“We are indeed very excited about our new journey as a part of our expansion programme,” said Aditya Ghosh, President of IndiGo. “We wish to thank our customers for their enduring trust and support. Dubai and Bangkok are key market for us and holds a lot of promise. We hope to provide the much needed avenue for countless Indians to explore wider horizons and at the same time open up the doors to more and more overseas travellers to experience India.”
