IndiGo launches Bangkok flights

Indian low-cost carrier, IndiGo yesterday launched direct flights between Bangkok and Mumbai. The Thai capital becomes IndiGo’s second destination in Southeast Asia following Singapore, and will be served daily using a 160-seat all-economy Airbus A320. In addition, IndiGo yesterday launched services between Mumbai and Dubai.
“We are indeed very excited about our new journey as a part of our expansion programme,” said Aditya Ghosh, President of IndiGo. “We wish to thank our customers for their enduring trust and support. Dubai and Bangkok are key market for us and holds a lot of promise. We hope to provide the much needed avenue for countless Indians to explore wider horizons and at the same time open up the doors to more and more overseas travellers to experience India.”
Flight to Bangkok will depart Mumbai at 0635 every day, arriving in the Thai capital’s Suvarnabhumi airport at 1235. The return service departs Bangkok at 1345, arriving back in Mumbai at 1650.
