An IndiGo plane caught fire after landing at Kathmandu airport in Nepal on 8 March.
All 176 passengers and six crew on board the IndiGo flight from New Delhi were evacuated through the emergency doors and are safe,” Rishikesh Sharma, General Manager for Kathmandu Airport told the Reuters.
One of the rear wheels of the aircraft caught fire as the plane was heading to the parking bay after landing. The fire was only noticed after parking, said an IndiGo statement.
