IndiGo to launch Dubai route on 1 September

Indian low-cost airline IndiGo has confirmed it will launch international flights on 1 September, with Dubai set to be the first destination from its home hub of New Delhi.During the month of September, the airline will also commence daily service on the Delhi-Bangkok-Delhi and Delhi-Singapore-Delhi routes. It will subsequently connect Mumbai with Dubai and Bangkok with daily flights effective 2 October. The airline is pricing all international fares at the special introductory rate of US$222, all inclusive.Commenting on the launch, Aditya Ghosh, president IndiGo said: “We are extremely excited about the upcoming international launch. I am sure our customers will love flying internationally with us. IndiGo will keep its promise of providing low fares on international routes as well. We hope that IndiGo will be able to provide a much needed avenue for countless Indians to explore wider horizons and at the same time open up the doors to more and more overseas travellers to experience India. It is our consistent endeavour to make the travel hassle free for our customers and provide high quality experience at low prices.”IndiGo will operate its international flights from New Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1D and Terminal 1C.
