IndiGo to launch Mumbai-Dubai route

Indian airline IndiGo is set to launch daily direct flights on its Mumbai-Bangkok-Mumbai and Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai routes. This month marked the airline’s successful launch of maiden international flights on the Delhi-Dubai, Delhi-Bangkok and Delhi-Singapore routes. The first Bangkok bound flight from Mumbai, will fly out from the Mumbai International Airport, carrying over 160 passengers on-board. Later that day, IndiGo will commence operations on the Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai route. Commenting on the launch of company’s new flights, Aditya Ghosh, president IndiGo said: “We are indeed very excited about our new journey as a part of our expansion programme. Dubai and Bangkok are key market for us and holds a lot of promise. We hope to provide the much needed avenue for countless Indians to explore wider horizons and at the same time open up the doors to more and more overseas travellers to experience India.”
