New privately owned Vietnamese carrier, Indochina Airlines, will launch operations today, Thanh Nien News has reported. The airline will serve the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)-Danang and HCMC-Hanoi routes five times a week. In doing so, Indochina will become Vietnam’s first wholly privately-owned carrier, with two more private start-ups, Vietjet Air and Mekong Air, set to follow.
