Privately-owned Vietnamese carrier, Indochina Airlines, will restart services today on the two domestic routes, Thanh Nien Daily has reported. The cash-strapped carrier has reportedly received additional investment of VND400 billion (US$21.9 million) to relaunch services from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and Danang. The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) had threatened to revoke Indochina’s license if it didn’t resume services by 1 January 2010.
