Indonesia, India sign air agreement

The Indonesian and Indian governments have signed an air service agreement to allow multiple airlines from to serve routes between the two countries. According to local news portal, tribunnews.com, the revised service agreement will see Indonesian national carrier, Garuda, launch services to Indian cities. No exact routes were announced, but the airline’s Senior External Communication Manager, Ikhsan Rosan, said direct services would commence when Garuda receives its new Boeing 737-800s.
