Indonesia to open tiger centre to open in Riau

The Sumatran Tiger Conservation Program Foundation will establish a Sumatran tiger study center in Riau, the Jakarta Post has reported. The centre, to be located in Sinepis, will aim to monitor and preserve the remaining endangered Sumatran tigers. Around 20 to 25 tigers live in Sinepis conservation area.
