InsideJapan reaches out to bloggers
InsideJapan has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to launch a new blogger competition.
The tour operator is offering a 19-night trip to Japan to the winning entry, aimed at boosting its expertise in holidays to Japan.
It has invited potential first-time visitors to the country to present 12 reasons to go to Japan using blogs, video, photographs and copy by 31 August. The winning blogger, and a companion, will blog throughout the trip in order to inspire other travellers. Its competition is also part of a wider digital campaign for InsideJapan to encourage more image, video and blog sharing about Japan.
“People love telling people about their travel experiences and people love hearing about the travel experiences of others. We want to encourage this and promote this fantastic country at the same time,” said James Mundy, PR and marketing manager of the tour operator on the strategy.
