Jetstar today began offering passengers iPads with the latest movies, games, e-magazines and e-books, as part of its in-flight entertainment package. iPads are being launched on selected Jetstar flights today and will be rolled out across the Australian domestic, trans-Tasman and short haul international services from Australia and New Zealand in the coming weeks. Customers flying longer than two hours will be able to hire an iPad from US$10-15 per flight. The airline has placed an initial order of 3,000 units and will order more as the service is rolled out across its Asia network.
