Registration has opened for this year’s World Travel Market (WTM).
The event will be its 35th and is expected to be the biggest yet following 2013’s 50,000 participants and GBP2.2 billion worth of deals.
This year the show will open at 9am instead of 10am and will stay open for longer on Wednesday to allow for longer stand events.
The Travel Technology Show will be a stand-alone event this year and increase by 25% while a Taste of ILTM at WTM will also return.
WTM Blogger Speed Networking has been introduced on the final day this year and the Family Holiday Association (FHA) will host its annual conference at the show.
A spa and wellness programme has also been launched for this year.
WTM senior director Simon Press said: “World Travel Market continues to improve every year, with 2014 poised to be the biggest and best yet. WTM 2013 saw a record number of visitors, delegates attend the events programme and the amount of business conducted because of WTM.
“This year WTM celebrates its 35th event and is extending the opening hours of the event to mark this landmark. This will help exhibitors conduct even more business than last year’s GBP2.2 billion, while Wednesday evening we will celebrate the past three and half decades with the WTM Festivals.”
