Jaded bankers offered US$20,000 retreat
A new company is offering tired bankers the chance to ease the mental anguish of the global financial crisis at a new spiritual retreat.
The Legacy Process, which was founded by ex-bankers, says it aims to offer support to executives “against a high-stress backdrop of restructuring, global volatility and diminished bonuses”. To do this, it is offering a week-long Australian retreat providing “physical, mental, emotional and spiritual work based on principles of psychotherapy [and] meditation”. The cost? A fraction under US$20,000, although 10% of profits do go to charity.
“If you empower yourself to chase your dreams with passion and unleash your real energy, you really start living again, but more meaningfully,” said Legacy Process advisor Noor Quek.
