Jakarta plans motorbike lanes

The city administration of Jakarta plans to establish motorcycles lanes in an attempt to ease traffic congestion in the city. According to the Jakarta Post motorcycles comprise nearly two-thirds of the 5.5 million vehicles that pack the city’s streets each day, causing chaos and congestion.
According to the report, there has been a 300% increase in the number of motorcycles in the city over the past four years.
