JAL, ANA to steer clear of N Korea

Following North Korea’s warnings that it could not guarantee the safety of passenger planes, Japanese airlines have also said that they will reroute aircraft to avoid the country. Japan Times has reported that the country’s two largest carriers, JAL and ANA, said that they will alter some international flight routes in early April to avoid what it called “danger areas”, relating to the possible launch sites of North Korean rockets.
North Korea has said it plans to launch a communications satellite next month.
