Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced today that it will reorganise the flight numbers of several of its international passenger flights from 28 March 2010 in preparation for the anticipated increase in traffic at Tokyo’s two airports, Narita and Haneda.
Flights between Tokyo, Narita and China, as well as Taiwan, will bear new three-digit flight numbers all starting with 8 – a number often considered auspicious in the Chinese culture.
