Japan Airlines (JAL) may win a fourth state bailout since 2001 as the indebted carrier continues to battle for survival. Bloomberg reported Japan’s President, Haruka Nishimatsu, as saying that JAL has asked the government for financial support, without requesting a specific amount. The airline reportedly wants a bailout to gain time to secure an investment from American Airlines or Delta Air Lines.
