JAL starts flying Embraer jets
Japan Airlines (JAL) has begun using Brazil-made Embraer 170 jets on regional routes, with the first flight from Nagoya to Matsuyama having taken-off on Sunday, Japan Times reported. It is the first time a passenger jet manufactured in Brazil has been used for domestic flights in Japan.
The 76-seat Embraer jets will also be used on Nagoya-Fukuoka, Fukuoka-Matsuyama and Sapporo-Akita routes.
