Japan Airlines (JAL) will bring back its famous old red crane logo later this year. The airline is planning to revive the logo as a symbol of the revitalization of its business, following last year’s bankruptcy. The red crane logo was first introduced in the 1950s, but was gradually phased out and replaced by the ‘rising sun’ emblem. A JAL official was reported saying that customers had also requested the crane’s revival.
