Japan and Korea agrees to open skies

This is said to be the first time Japan has made such an agreement, and has significantly exempted Tokyo’s airports in the deal.
According to reports, this was due to Japan’s claims that the Narita and Haneda airports are already operating in full capacity.
The strategic partnership will increase both airlines competitiveness in the market as Japan and Korea have been attempting to expand flight capacity as they come against rivals in the south for the position of Asia’s top aviation hub.
