Jet Airways has launched a daily non-stop service from Delhi to Milan. It has also signed a codeshare agreement with Alitalia to provide more connections in Italy. The news comes as the airline announced an 18 percent increase in international traffic for October compared to the same month last year. “October’s performance can be in part attributed to the start of Diwali and lead into peak season,” said Raja Segran, Senior Vice President UK/Europe and Americas at Jet Airways. “As we look to the year end and beyond to 2011, we are confident that traffic will hold up, and yields improve, despite the uncertainties presented by austerity measures implemented in many segments.”
