Jet Airways record increased passengers

Jet Airways has recorded an increase in its international and domestic seat factors.In its fifth consecutive revenue-rising month, the Indian airline’s international traffic rose by 30.5% and domestic passengers rose by 21.7% year-on-year. This accounts to a seat factor of 82%.In addition, the airline’s economy subsidiary JetLite has seen a 10.4% growth in passenger traffic.”The changed economic scenario has seen a steady rise in air traffic growth, while the strategic and network initiatives the airline has been implementing over the last couple of quarters have enabled Jet Airways to continually better its performance, while meeting and exceeding the expectations of its guests with its award-winning services,” said Jet Airways’ CEO Nikos Kardassis.Jet is also launching a daily non-stop flight from Mumbai to Johannesburg from 14 April using the Airbus 330-200. A daily flight on the Thiruvananthapuram-Dammam sector is effective from March 28.
