Jet Airways has restructured its JetPrivilege frequent flyer programme (FFP).
Effective 1 August 2014, a new mileage accrual structure will be implemented, while a new redemption structure will be put in place from 1 September 2014, applicable for all flights on Jet Airways and JetKonnect.
Under the new accrual structure, JetPrivilege members flying 500 miles or less will be awarded a minimum of 500 JPMiles for Jet Airways flights and 375 for JetKonnect flights. For flights of more than 500 miles, JetPrivilege members will continue to get 100% of flown miles for Jet flights and 75% on JetKonnect.
The restructured mile redemption will lower the minimum redemption requirement to 5,000 JPMiles for domestic and 6,000 JPMiles for international flights.
“This is the first of the major feature led enhancements we have announced for the JetPrivilege programme after being established as a separate company,” explained Manish Dureja, managing director of JetPrivilege.
“With the newly-introduced accrual and redemption structure, our JetPrivilege members will be able to accumulate more JPMiles faster, thus reducing the time required to get rewarded with a free air travel in the form of an award ticket.
“This announcement kick starts the first of the various programme enhancements that we plan to unveil at regular intervals for our JetPrivilege members over the next few months,” he added.
