Jet boosts connections to emerging Indian cities

Jet Airways has introduced new a series of new flights between some of India’s fastest-growing cities.

The new services, which have already commenced, will connect Ahmedabad, in northwest India’s Gujarat state, with Bhopal and Indore, the two largest cities in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.

The airline has also started flying from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad and Pune, in Telangana and Maharashtra states respectively.

“Jet Airways is pleased to announce new flights linking Ahmedabad with Bhopal-Indore, as well as Hyderabad-Pune, following an increased demand from industry as well as tourist traffic,” said Raj Sivakumar, Jet’s chief commercial officer.

“As part of our customer centric approach, Jet Airways is constantly working towards enhancing travel options on new routes for its esteemed guests. The new flights will give added impetus to guests seeking to plan a holiday this summer season.”

The triangular Ahmedabad-Bhopal-Indore-Ahmedabad route and the Ahmedabad-Pune-Hyderabad service will both operate six times a week (every day except Saturday), using Jet’s 68-seat ATR turboprop aircraft.
