Jet Airways will be inviting First and Premiere guests to enjoy some airport R and R with a move to the deluxe SkyTeam lounge at London Heathrow Terminal Four from this week (1 June 2010).
The move to the new lounge will enable passengers to find a welcome oasis of calm prior to boarding their flight. The co-branded SkyTeam lounge, which opened fully in November last year, offers the latest in design technology including a vegetal living wall, conceived especially for the SkyTeam lounge by commissioned botanist Patrick Blanc. The two-level lounge, located opposite Gate 10, occupies more than 1,600 square meters with space for more than 300 passengers. The lounge offers customers a superior airport experience that combines comfort and convenience with luxurious amenities such as a wine bar, oxygen bar and full-body massage chairs.
Facilities and enhanced services include:
– Total seating capacity of 300 over two levels, no more than 70% occupancy at any given time
– Food and bar counters on both levels
– Six play stations on each level
– Oxygen bar - 10-minute sessions of pure oxygen from a disposable headset and choice of scents
– Wine bar - An assorted classic spread of whites and reds, perfect for relaxation
– Numerous TV sets all over the lounge
WiFi in all areas of lounge
– Every sofa seat has plug points for laptop connectivity
– VIP area (available for use with prior booking)
– Meeting room
– Wellness Centre - Provides a variety of mental and physical health amenities, including showers and full-body massage chairs
– Quiet area - Complete with day beds
– VIP area - First Class passengers and other VIP lounge guests will enjoy ultra-luxury amenities including exclusive wine and champagne offerings
– Children’s area - Equipped with games and entertainment
SkyTeam has created a ‘home-away-from-home’ for passengers awaiting departure out of Terminal Four. The design concept is modern, welcoming and expressive of movement. From the lighting and furniture to the walls and circular wine bar, the lounge was designed entirely in fluid, curved forms with no angles.
The lounge will be available to Jet Airways’ First Class and Premiere Class passengers as well as Economy Class Jet Privilege members, and replaces the previous lounge shared with Ethiad Airways.
