Jetstar Asia increases Indonesia and Malaysia services for Holy Month

Jetstar Asia will be adding 13 services between Singapore and five destinations – Medan, Surabaya, Palembang, Pekanbaru and Penang – to meet travel demand over Ramadan and the Hari Raya Puasa holidays in 2017.

Jet Airways passengers will be able to book Jetstar Asia flights to 11 destinations

These flights will operate in addition to the airline’s regular scheduled services from 16 June to 2 July 2017. The expanded schedule will see the following services added over the course of the period:

four services between Singapore and Medan in Indonesia;
three services between Singapore and Surabaya in Indonesia;
two services between Singapore and Palembang in Indonesia;
two services between Singapore and Pekanbaru in Indonesia; and
two services between Singapore and Penang in Malaysia.

Countries in Asia traditionally end the Muslim holy month of Ramadan with the Hari Raya Puasa public holiday, which will fall on 25 and 26 June 2017, Sunday and Monday respectively.
