Jetstar improves NZ punctuality

Jetstar has published its New Zealand domestic On-Time Performance (OTP) figures. In a presentation to the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jetstar CEO, Bruce Buchanan, said that 79% of all flights had arrived on time during July. This saw a gradual increase from previous months, and continued to improve into August, with 83% of all flights arriving on time for the week ending 8 August. Buchanan added that most of those earlier delays were caused by weather conditions in Queenstown, to which Jetstar operates a daily direct service from both Auckland and Christchurch.
