Jetstar takes off to Penang

Jetstar Asia yesterday launched a new daily direct service to Penang, marking the airline’s 17th destination from Singapore and 4th Malaysian city now served through its expanding Asian network. Furthermore, the new Airbus A320 services will rise to double daily from 1 October 2009.
said Malaysia presented some exciting growth opportunities for the Jetstar network.
“Malaysia is a vital player in Jetstar’s growing Pan Asian network and we are thrilled today to start our new daily service to the historic city of Penang,” said Jetstar Asia’s Chief Executive Officer, Chong Phit Lian.
