Jetstar is finalising an agreement with PayPal, which would see it become the first airline in Australia to offer its customers the option of purchasing with PayPal for bookings made via irs website, Jetstar.com.
The collaboration would give customers the choice to pay from their savings, cheque, debit or credit card accounts when purchasing a Jetstar fare from Australia.
The low-cost carrier’s Chief Commercial Officer, David Koczkar, said; “Along with our commitment to offer our customers every day low fares, Jetstar is constantly looking for innovative ways to make online bookings on Jetstar.com more convenient.
“Our airline group remains consistent in being a long time industry leader in providing greater choice and convenience to air travellers when purchasing their flights online.”
PayPal Managing Director, Frerk-Malte Feller, added; “When customers turn to the web to book their holidays they are seeking fast, convenient and transparent experiences. A partnership with PayPal will provide Jetstar customers with another hassle free payment option that provides greater choice of funding. The goal is to make booking your holiday as stress free as possible.”
