Jin Jiang, the Shanghai-based hotel group, has opened a new “garden-style” luxury hotel in the Chinese city of Changde.
Newly-developed, the Liu Yuan Jin Jiang Hotel Changde soft-opened on 1 June on the banks of Zhantian Lake. It forms part of the Liuye Lake Resort complex, a large ecological tourism resort in Hunan province.
“Changde… has a growing demand for high-star hotels. Liu Yuan Jin Jiang Hotel Changde will be the first local garden-style five-star hotel that combines business and leisure. It aims to provide more comfortable accommodation, conference and catering services for business travellers,” Simon Zhang, CCEO of Jin Jiang.
Liu Yuan Jin Jiang Hotel Changde covers 140,000m² and features a series of low-rise modern buildings set amongst trees. There are 295 rooms and suites in total, plus a heated swimming pool, executive lounge, fitness centre, massage room, table tennis room, billiard room, and a range of function spaces including a 450-seat ballroom.
While the resort is set in a quiet lakeside location, it is also just 2km from the Changde railway station and is located close to Changde’s largest water park, Happy Water World.
