Job Description

Job Overview

To accurately and in a timely manner receive, book and confirm suppliers, restaurant and excursion booking requests for services required by our internal and external clients. Prepare guide itineraries & briefings, fact sheets, job orders, cash advances, optional sales clearances, vouchers and guests documentation. Follow-up on tour reports. Execute day-to-day operations for group series and first contact person for Thai guides. Coordinate and monitor operational issues, quality control and reporting. Manage /update operational costs and data in Tour plan system.

 

Key areas of accountability and responsibility

  • Manage daily bookings for FIT, GIT, Incentives and Fam Trips
  • Cross check the accuracy of itinerary and communicate with TD&R
  • Assign guides and drivers
  • Provide special attention to VIPs, Inspections and manage the special requests to meet client’s expectation
  • Grow revenue from Optional Tours selling
  • Administration support such as Job Orders, Cash Advance, Guide Fee, Vouchers and other relevant documents for the tours
  • Manage branding requirement from agents with guides, drivers and suppliers
  • Provide briefing and debriefing to guides
  • Manage reservation to local suppliers to secure seats such as restaurants, local transport, activities in advance
  • Handle 24/7 Emergency Calls (rotation basis) and manage the report on daily basis
  • Organize Annual Guide Training and act as a facilitator to lead the session
  • Participate in Staff Inspection Trips as per scheduling
  • Raise issues with solutions to Team Leader/Operation Manager
  • Ad hoc tasks as needed and requested by Team Leader/OPM

 

Required knowledge, skills and attributes

  • Good command of English and Communication
  • Strong organizational skills and result oriented
  • Have ability to work under pressure
  • Good experience of customer-orientation; able to manage customer’s satisfaction
  • Flexiblity and priority and meet with the short timeline
  • Have sense of emergency and able to response to the problem with resolutions 24/7
  • Have knowledge about Thailand tour products and available services
  • Have strong people skills; able to manage guides and suppliers to meet with company’s standard
  • Excellent communication skills; to internal and external parties
  • Computer literate (Office 365, MS Office, Emailing, Google and Travel Software)
  • Thai national only
