Adventure Travel Trade (ATTA) have named Kempinski Hotel Ishtar, Jordan, as the 2018 host for next year’s AdventureNEXT Near East, taking place 7-9 May 2018.
Last year’s inaugural adventure event saw 250 buyers, suppliers and international media attend the event. AdventureNEXT Near East aims to connect the international travel trade with regional suppliers and discover new adventures in the Near East region.
Tourism professionals from within Jordan and surrounding countries, along with international tour operators and media are invited to be a part of the 300-person delegation. Online registrations are now open.
“We welcome all our dear friends and delegates to AdventureNEXT Near East, due to take place in Jordan next year,” said HE Lina Annab, minister of tourism & antiquities in Jordan. “We look forward to receiving you and welcoming you. We are sure you will have a great time at the conference and in the beautiful country of Jordan.”
Manal Kelig, ATTA executive director of MENA, added: “The inaugural event in 2017 was like planting a seed, and there is so much more work to be done to help the Near East destinations increase their offerings — both new itineraries and timeless experiences — while empowering local communities preserve their cultural traditions.
“Based on feedback from local participants and enthusiasm from delegates who attended AdventureNEXT Near East, there were not only requests but also expectations for more events to be held in the region.”
