Jumeirah’s UAE numbers rise

The guest numbers from UAE are on a increase for the Jumeirah Group. The hotel chain recently held its road show in Abu Dhabi addressing tour operators, travel agencies and clients.
UAE is a key source market for the Group that registered a 16% growth in room nights and 34% room revenue year-to-date in comparison to 2013. In 2014 year-to-date, combined business from countries in the Gulf region accounted for 326,644 room nights and 22.7% of revenues. Furthermore, average room rates across the company’s portfolio grew by 1.4% with occupancy increasing by four percent which in turn contributed to a 7.4% growth in revenue per available room (RevPAR).
