Juneyao Airlines to add eight A321s

Shanghai carrier Juneyao Airlines, is to continue its fleet expansion with an order for eight Airbus A321s, which will be delivered in 2014. The order will take the company’s fleet size to 41 by the end of next year.
At present, Juneyao Airlines has confirmed that five A321s, the stretched version of the A320 jet, which will be delivered in Hamburg next year. According to the delivery schedule, the first of the five aircraft will be purchased directly from plane manufacturer Airbus and be delivered in January next year.
Juneyao Airlines will rent another four A321s from GE Capital Aviation Services and take delivery of two A321s in July, one in November and one in December.
Every plane will be configured with 190 seats.
Juneyao Airlines currently owns an all Airbus fleet of 34 narrow-body aircraft A320s and one A321. The carrier mainly operates out of Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai.
It established another operating base in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in 2012.
