JW Marriott celebrates with three new hotels

Marriott International’s luxury brand, JW Marriott, has celebrated its 25th anniversary by announcing three additions to its portfolio. The new properties are the 150-room JW Marriott Hotel Cuzco, Peru (opening in 2010), the 370-room JW Marriott Hotel Tripoli, Libya (2011) and the 371-room JW Marriott Coco Beach Resort & Spa, Puerto Rico (2011).
The three additions boost JW Marriott’s brand pipeline to 25 properties opening by 2013.
“This brand has defined itself as providing luxury for the times,” said Ed Fuller, President & Managing Director of International Lodging for Marriott International.
“It has proven itself over the years as a luxury brand that provides purposeful and meaningful services, amenities and environments.”
Today, 43 JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts are located in 20 countries. This year, JW Marriott hotels will open in Hangzhou and Bengaluru, adding to 2009’s first opening in Shenzhen.
