KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will add capacity on the Singapore - Amsterdam route starting 3 June 2009 with the deployment of the higher capacity Boeing 777-300ER on two of its daily flights.
The deployment of the larger B777-300ER comes in time for the peak demand during the Northern summer and closely follows the deployment of this aircraft on the Jakarta - Kuala Lumpur - Amsterdam route on 30 March 2009.
The B777-300ER’s higher fuel-efficiency will also help KLM contribute to the aviation industry’s efforts to reduce its collective environmental footprint while delivering state-of-the-art amenities in both World Business Class and Economy Class.
Anthony Lim, AIR FRANCE-KLM Country Manager for Singapore says, “The introduction of the higher capacity and more fuel-efficient B777-300ER represents a major investment in our future and the environment while continuing to deliver the level of comfort and service that our discerning customers have come to expect of us”.
