Komodo dragons go missing from Surabaya Zoo

Three young Komodo dragons have been reported missing from the Surabaya Zoo, local media reported have revealed. According to the Jakarta Post, the first Komodo dragon went missing on 1 March 2011, followed by two more disappearances on 5 March. All three dragons were under a year old. The three were living in a display cage along with 18 other young Komodo dragons. Zoo chief, Tony Sumampu, reported the animals missing on Monday. It is unclear what happened to the three dragons.
