KSA gets more Accor brands

Accor HotelServices Middle East has signed management agreements with the Alesayi Group to operate two new Adagio Aparthotel properties in Saudi Arabia. The 200-unit Adagio Aparthotel Jeddah Alesayi Plaza and the 150-unit Adagio Aparthotel Riyadh Dhabab will be developed next to upcoming ibis hotels.
“We are looking forward to our relationship with the Alesayi Group and increase our Adagio Aparthotel portfolio in the Kingdom. We are convinced that developing clusters of ibis and Adagio Aparthotel in Jeddah and Riyadh offering affordable short and long-stay at these strategic locations,” said Christophe Landais, chief operating officer for Accor HotelServices Middle East. “Under the management agreements, we will see development of a 300 key ibis and 200 unit Adagio Aparthotel cluster at Jeddah Alesayi Plaza, and a 194-key ibis and 150-unit Adagio Aparthotel cluster at Riyadh Dhahab Street.”
The Adagio Aparthotel offers facilities such as a 24×7 reception desk, lobby café and breakfast lounge, gym, dry cleaning services and meetings space. The Adagio Aparthotel Jeddah Alesayi Plaza and Adagio Aparthotel Riyadh Dhabab Street will include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Both properties are scheduled to open by 2017 and will house a breakfast room, including a ibis café corner, fitness centre and small meeting rooms.
The Adagio Aparthotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan is set to open in June 2014. The expanding Adagio Aparthotel portfolio aligns with Accor’s plan to open 10 Adagio Aparthotels within its hotel network in the region.
