The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) is looking at taking initiatives to develop Kuchipudi village as an important tourist destination in Andhra Pradesh.
Dr K Chiranjeevi, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Tourism assured that he would focus on Andhra Pradesh even while giving due importance to tourism projects in other states of the country.
“The village requires better infrastructure to become a tourist destination. The Kuchipudi classical dance has not received sufficient importance due to lack of marketing and publicity,” Chiranjeevi said.
