Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping, marking the first Le Méridien property in Northeast China.
Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping features 296 rooms and suites with high-speed Wi-Fi access, 55-inch ﬂat-panel TV, with a separate deep-soaking tub and rain shower.
The brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub will create a space for daytime work and evening cocktails and features the ‘Ai Mei Midsummer’ artwork inspired by local dancing handkerchiefs of the Chinese folk art.
Latest Recipe restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner buﬀets; Le Mei offers Chinese cuisine, and Latitude 42 has drinks, petit plates and coffee. Meeting venues totaling 1,000 sqm and there is a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool.
Known as ‘Mukden’ in the Qing Dynasty, Shenyang is home to the Shenyang Palace Museum, Shenyang Zhaoling Tomb, Marshal Zhang’s Mansion and Zhongshan Plaza. The Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE) is located within 40-minute drive from the hotel, and Shenyang North Train Station can be reached by car in 30 minutes.
