Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas cruise liner returns to Singapore tomorrow to embark on its final Southeast Asia season.

The winter season will see Legend of the Seas sail a range of two- to seven-night itineraries from Singapore to destinations including Melaka, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Phuket from 31 October until early April. Highlights include the festive cruises for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, a new seven-night cruise to Kota Kinabalu and Bandar Seri Begawan, and a five-night cruise to Bangkok and Koh Samui.

The 2,074-passenger cruise ship will also undergo a major refurbishment in January 2013 which will include the addition of new dining venues and revamped guest cabins. The new F&B concepts include the Izumi Asian Cuisine restaurant, Chop’s Grille steakhouse, the exclusive 14-guest Chef’s Table and Park Cafe.

Guest cabins will be equipped with Wi-Fi and interactive flat-screen TVs, while balconies will be added to oceanview rooms. In addition a large screen will be erected at the poolside and a new digital way-finding system will be installed throughout the ship.
