Hotel operator Loews has added three US properties to its portfolio – in Washington DC, Boston and Hollywood.
The firm, which has around US$1 billion worth of acquisitions and capital projects currently in the pipeline, is looking to further its reach on the hotel market with these purchases.
The acquisitions include Loews Hollywood Hotel, famous for hosting this year’s Oscar’s press conference; the Loews Boston Hotel, which is housed in one of the most historic buildings in the city; and Loews Madison Hotel, a 356-room property just moments away from The Whitehouse.
The Boston property, formerly the Police headquarters, is regarded as a city landmark and features 225-rooms and state-of-the-art fitness centre, located in one of Boston’s best locations.
