More hotels in long-haul destinations have been added to Lowcostbeds’ portfolio as it launches a new XML gateway.
The accommodation provider has focused on gaining more product in the Caribbean, Far East, Australia, USA and Middle East, while new destinations include Kenya, Gambia, Maldives, Mauritius and South America.
“We have been steadily building our long haul business over the last few years through the trade, and now see the opportunity to really accelerate this growth,” said David Weatherson, long haul product & purchasing manager at lowcostttravelgroup. “We are not as well known for long haul destinations as short haul but aim to change that perception over the forthcoming months.”
Paul Riches, group director of sales said the company has seen its long-haul trade sales more than double in the last year and its new technology has enabled the growth.
