lowcostbeds will showcase its offerings to the Asian travel trade this month, when it makes its debut at the annual PATA Travel Mart.
The bed bank is focusing on driving sales from Asian agents, and the company’s Bangkok-based managing director for Asia Pacific, Adam Alford, said the Cambodian trade show provided the perfect opportunity raise awareness.
“After expanding into the Asia Pacific last year with offices in Bangkok and Sydney, we are very excited to connect for the first time with the international buyers and hoteliers attending PATA Travel Mart,” Alford said.
And to further drive its regional sales, lowcostbeds has also appointed VLeisure as a regional GSA to enhance its business from retail travel agents in Asia Pacific.
“Our strategy in the APAC region is to leverage our technology and vast product range of over 200,000 hotels globally to forge new connections with leading operators and agents across the region and that’s what VLeisure will assist us with moving forward as we aim for triple digit growth in sales in this region for 2015,” Alford added.
Organised by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), this year’s PATA Travel Mart will take place in Phnom Penh from 17-19 September 2014.
The event is expected to be attended by more than 1,000 delegates from 65 countries around the world, and Alford has invited attendees to visit the lowcostbeds booth – C20 – to view the company’s hotel inventory, technology solutions and other offerings.
